Teaching Experience

During my time as a professor of Finance at the University of Phoenix, I enjoyed facilitating both graduate and undergraduate finance courses. In my role, I adhered to university instructional design standards and adult learning principles to ensure best possible student experience. I also analyzed curriculum, students and learning environments to identify appropriate instructional methods. I received multiple faculty honorarium awards for external presentations in Finance as well as being published in an online publication for my article on personal branding. I was also recognized for outstanding feedback to students and teaching methods. With a passion to help students, I served as undergraduate chapter advisor for the University of Phoenix Houston chapter of National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In this capacity I became a LEAD Certified Organization Advisor.
